Super Stan's Scoot

Congratulations to Sniffer for making his first appearance at the WTClub. He's now officially a local and hopefully this will have been the first of many more.

SS is the first of us to have finally got himself a scoot - after much discussion and research over the last 5 or 6 weeks. Lovely vespa which really looked the business until Sniff fell off it and left a bit of a gouge down the side :-)

Luckily, Sniff has a spare Sky+ box and Tel needs one - so if Sniff gives tel the unit and Tel gives Super Stan £150 then the new scoot can get a respray/fix up and everybody's happy.

Just call me fixlar ;-)

Drunkedness

I was so pissed on the Thursday and hungover on the friday that I completely forgot what happened so didn't write the minutes.

Now that is how it's supposed to work!!! A top club night obviously!

What is LP up to?

In attendance: ET,BBB,SS,D,GB,J and LP

A shocking turn of events when LP showed up - presumably to cover his tracks. Claimed he'd been to the cinema. We have no idea....

Plenty of beer was consumed and we were once again able to sit outside, so that's at least two days of summer in the UK this year.

Good news re BBB's parcel in the post.

Week after next, SN will have moved so he'll hopefully be joining us on either the 20th or 21st.

Locksmiths

Just a load of old gossip and that. A few beers and lots of crisps. Terry enlightened us into the costs of a locksmith after breaking his front door in a complicated way.

Summertime...and the living is easy...

At last some decent weather meaning we finally got sit outside.

Hot....Damn Hot.

Regrettably SH's slide show of his holiday pictures has been postponed because the weather was too nice to sit inside in front of an OHP. So, luckily the lads that didn't make it this week won't miss out on the main event ;-)

Recession Proof Business

In attendance: GB,SS,BBB,J & another potential nouuu membur TA

Numbers a bit better this week, although still no sign of C,D,P & TIA.

SH should be back soon from his hols, so we should be getting a presentation of is holiday photos on an OHP in the pub next week.

Discussion around setting up a recession proof business spawned the idea of a whore house - although after some lively debate the conclusion was drawn that it's not recession proof after all. Not that that should stop us at least thinking it through.... BBB could supply local property and C legal advice. 

Distinct lack of suitable female staff though, so for the interim, J is interviewing and TA has recently contracted some very expensive offshore research (allegedly)

The married lads can read the CV's. ;-)

Nouuu Memba's

All a bit messy this week because the site hasn't been running properly and there's summer holidays all over the place.

• SH is in Italy (with his bad ear). 
• BBB is back from spain but strangely quiet. 
• D is in Cyprus topping up his orange. 
• C is back from france but up to his neck in work. 
• TIA is still invisible or unable to write email and ... 
• LP has got so small he's vanished.

So that leaves GB and SS to keep things going with assistance from J. We're also getting a second nouuu membur in the shape of SN, once he's moved house.

Back on track with almost a full turnout. BBB is out of the country and C has only just returned.

A short guest appearance from Dave was a welcome addition to proceedings, and a slightly longer guest appearance from TIA was an improvement over his previous weeks attendance.

TIA was joining us, and then pulled out at the last minute (something he does as a contraceptive I was told) ;-)

Deck Chairs and Chins

Next week GB won't be about as that's the last WTClub meeting before the A.G.S.Tour.

GB and SS will be away for the duration while BBB, SH and TIA will be back in time for the following Wednesday.

Points of order worthy of note:

• SH likes to wear a deck chair. 
• D has more than one chin. 
• Our Landlord is a 'good sport' - what-o! although despite this, the next WTC meet might be at the DG - just to see what it's like now it's been re-done. 
• Very concerned about LP and the people he mixes with. Dangerous ground.

Footy and Beer....

A mental game of football. Man Utd eventually beat Chelsea, but they dragged it out so we'd have to have more beers.

Two Guests joined us. Pete (not the short one) and Tony (not the Invisible one) - or perhaps I'm wrong and that is Little Landrover Pete and The Invisible Arch - Haven't seen them for so long.

Marry, Cruise, Shag...
